The goal of this study is to evaluate the usefulness and usability of a new photo privacy protection system that uses obfuscations to protect photo privacy on OSNs.

What will you do?

This is a two-step study project. In this first survey, you will provide photos that you would like to post on Facebook, but have not because of privacy reasons. You will be reminded to participate the second step study about a month later after you finish the first study. In the second step, you will interact with a prototype system that enables photo uploading where the photos you provided in the first step are used as stimuli. Note that other participants will NOT see your photos in the second test and they will be using their own photos as testing stimuli.

How much can you get?

For the first study, if you do not pass the screening, you will be instructed to obtain your monetary incentive $0.50. If you pass the screening and successfully complete the survey, you will be instructed to obtain the additional monetary incentive amounting to $2.00. For the second study, if you complete it, you will receive a monetary incentive of $5.00.

How long will it take?

The first study will take about 15 minutes whereas the second research will take about 20 minutes to complete.
